This Privacy Policy describes how Stay Gold Technologies ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Bamboo mobile application ("Bamboo" or "the App"). It applies to all versions of Bamboo available on the Apple App Store.

Bamboo stores all of your fitness data locally on your device using an embedded database. This data includes:
None of this data is transmitted to Stay Gold Technologies or any third party. It exists solely on your device and is under your control at all times.
Bamboo requests access to your device's location only when you begin a distance-tracking exercise. This permission is used exclusively to measure the distance you travel during that session.
Location data is never transmitted off your device and is never shared with any third party.
Bamboo may send local notifications to your device — for example, to alert you when a rest timer has ended. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No notification content is transmitted to or processed by any server.
You can disable notifications for Bamboo at any time in your device's Settings app.
Bamboo includes a built-in export feature that lets you save your workout data as a JSON file. You control where that file goes — to Files, iCloud Drive, email, or any other destination you choose. Stay Gold Technologies does not receive a copy of any exported data.
Bamboo does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifying information as part of normal app use.
If you contact us for support, we will only use your contact information to respond to your inquiry.
Bamboo does not currently include third-party analytics software or crash reporting. We do not collect usage data, session metrics, or diagnostic information.
Note on future updates: We may add opt-in crash reporting in a future version to help us identify and fix app stability issues. If we do, it will be clearly disclosed in an updated version of this policy, and any diagnostic data collected will not include your workout content or personal information.
All data in the current version of Bamboo is stored locally on your device only.
Note on future updates: We intend to introduce optional cloud sync or backup in a future version of the app. When that feature is released, this policy will be updated to fully describe what data is stored, where it is stored, how it is protected, and how you can delete it. Cloud storage will be opt-in, and local-only use will remain available.
Bamboo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
Because all data is stored on your device, you have full control over it at all times:
Stay Gold Technologies does not hold a copy of your data and therefore cannot retrieve or delete it on your behalf in the current version of the app.
Bamboo does not integrate with any third-party advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers. The App uses the Apple App Store for distribution, which is subject to Apple's own privacy practices and terms.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide notice through the App or the App Store listing.
Continued use of Bamboo after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
